HOW TO REACH US
Parking
Located 50 metres away, in Via San Tomaso: it has 3 reserved parking spaces, 2 of which comply with regulations, 1 without a side strip.
Public transport
100 metres away, in Piazzale Oberdan – Via Cesare Battisti, there are stops for several bus lines; buses are generally equipped with manual platforms.
Pedestrian route from car parks and bus stops
There is a flat section and a slightly uphill section, which is adequate in terms of width and type of paving; there are no tactile paving indicators. The road crossings from Piazzale Oberdan have traffic lights and audio sensors, with kerb ramps and a central traffic island.
ENTRANCE/EXIT
The central gate is accessed via 5 steps without handrails. There is a short walkway and 3 steps without handrails to access the flat entrance door. On the main façade, there is a side gate with a ramp and a short walkway to the side entrance door. The side entrance is normally closed, but staff open the door when visitors arrive.
ACCESSORIES AND WHEELCHAIRS
The museum has two manual wheelchairs available for visitors to use. Access to the exhibition rooms on the first and second floors is possible via two lifts located next to the two staircases.
LOCKERS
On the ground floor, to the left of the ticket office, there is a cloakroom area with lockers equipped with keys and numbered in black and Braille.
PRESENCE OF ASSISTANCE STAFF
Assistance is available for access to the museum and its services, as well as inside the exhibition rooms.
GARDEN E BISTROT
The garden can be accessed from the second floor of the museum via a sliding door and a slightly sloping covered walkway.
The garden is not accessible to people with motor disabilities; only the bistro area is accessible.
The bistro is located in the museum garden. It can be accessed from the second floor of the museum via a sliding door and a slightly sloping covered walkway.
The garden and bistro can also be accessed without entering the museum; the entrance is located on Via della Noca, on the side of the museum.
