ARTE E NATURA KIDS

At Accademia Carrara, a new way of experiencing art is born: Arte e Natura Kids, an interactive exhibition designed for children aged 6 to 12, created to observe, explore, and experiment with complete creative freedom.

With Arte e Natura. Painting on Stone from 16th to 17th century, Accademia Carrara launches for the first time an exhibition program dedicated to young audiences, a project that enriches the main exhibition with a space tailored for active learning, where observation and experimentation become tools to engage with art in a fun and immersive way.

Works from the museum’s collections are displayed at a height accessible to children, allowing a close-up view of artistic techniques and materials. Natural supports -stone, copper, wood, canvas – used by artists between the 16th and 17th centuries become the starting point for discovering new expressive possibilities. The exhibition includes: viewing the works in person (even from the back to understand their structure), tactile discovery moments, and spaces dedicated to artistic experimentation.

Also featured are children’s drawings from the PInAC Foundation – International Museum of Children’s Art “Aldo Cibaldi”, inviting visitors of all ages to be inspired and create their own works.
